This report provides a summary of the Phase II portion of the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) Accelerated Pavement Testing (CAL/APT) Program. The program utilizes two Heavy Vehicle Simulators (HVS). One is used to test full-scale pavement in a controlled environment. The other is used for testing in-service pavements.
